Elegant Low-key, Navy & Gold Swaneset Wedding

Watch Dallas’ & Amie’s Swaneset Highlight Video, then check out the Photos!

Amie & Dallas are both civil engineers living up in Fort McMurray. We initially met via Skype, and when they came down to do some more wedding planning we later met up in person for a quick breakfast.

They’re the sweetest couple that loves to travel, and scuba dive and love each other very, very much!

Amie and the girls all got ready at Vivid Hair Boutique which was just a short walk from the Sandman Signature Hotel where they were all staying.

The couple exchanged gifts and hand written love notes. (Check out the video for this… It’s a tear jerker!)

Everyone made their way to the beautiful Swaneset Resort and Country Club, where the theme was really just an elegant low-key navy blue decor. It was so simple and lovely. All the tables were named after some of Dallas & Amie’s favourite activities; like Scuba-diving, which is a big passion of theirs.

The girls helped Amie get dressed, and everyone all around was in high spirits despite the heat.

If you’re looking for a big entrance, the “Grand Aisle Walk” from the club house to the terrace is pretty epic!Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver Wedding photographer Vancouver

When we asked them what was the one thing that was most important to them, they said “Our love”.  (Aw so cute!)

Their entire reception was full of love and laughter, and lots of inside jokes.

Amie’s parents, who live in Malaysia, brought with them a special gift; handmade and engraved pewter goblets.

Two engineers cutting a cake is a precise job!

Amie & Dallas had their first dance to “Hey Pretty Girl” by Kip Moore. I’m not a country music fan, but this song totally got stuck in my head for a week after their wedding.

If having a great party is a must have for you, don’t forget to leave enough time for lots of coverage of this. Professional Party-pics are pretty great! ;)
